Dr Sarah Mwikali is the founder and executive director of the Gifted Community Center (GCC) an award winning organization advancing the rights of children’s & youth with disabilities in Kenya and beyond. GCC is also the Kenya’s leading Network of Youth with Disabilities and College Students.

Sarah has served CCYDN since its founding as an executive committee member, African Regional representative and 2025 co-chair.

She has represented CCYDN in various advocacy initiatives, positioning it as a children and youth led network across the commonwealth.

Sarah holds a PhD in Diplomacy and International Affairs and has worked/consulted in different organizations including UNICEF, USAID, UNFPA, among others.

She is an academician and a leading researcher on interdisciplinary qualitative research.
