Michael Obeng is a Ghanaian disability rights advocate, youth leader, and writer committed to advancing the rights, leadership, and meaningful participation of children and young persons with disabilities. As a person who stammers, he draws on his lived experience to champion inclusion, accessibility, and equal opportunities.He serves as Chairperson of the youth committee of the Ghana Federation of Disability Organisations (GFD) and is a member of the Interim Working Group of the Ghana Network of Youths with Disabilities (GNYD). His work spans disability rights advocacy, youth leadership, policy engagement, research, and storytelling in service of inclusive development.Michael is passionate about strengthening youth voices, building partnerships, and ensuring that children and young persons with disabilities are meaningfully represented in decision-making at national, Commonwealth, and global levels.
